With her Master's in Applied Clinical Nutrition, her Certification as a Yoga Instructor and Essential Oils Educator, She is here as your resource and your guide.
Gina Cerbone, 200 E-RYT, began her yogic journey in 2010 as she developed a strong connection to her Vinyasa practice which led her to complete a teacher training program with Delia Quigley and Denise Kay in July 2013.
For Gina, the Vinyasa quality of "moving mediation," coupled with her daily seated meditation, allows her to center herself when her world feels out of balance and lacking in stillness. Gina feels that Yoga has opened her eyes to see the person within, who she really is. Her practice helped her to find herself at a time when she felt lost. Gina believes that human nature is an important aspect of teaching yoga and a path to gain insight into others as well as one’s self by giving and receiving (sharing) the gift of yoga.
Gina has studied with the following teachers Doug Swensen and Kino MacGregor. She continues to grow and learn from teachers, workshops, and, as a life-long learner, her own self-study. She has completed trainings and certifications in Yin Yoga, Chair yoga, Hatha Yoga, and Aerial Yoga. She continues to grow as she completes her Advanced 300 Hour Teacher Training with Nancy Candea.
Gina holds her Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art from Saint Joseph’s University. She has completed her Masters in Applied Clinical Nutrition (Cum Laude) at New York Chiropractic College in 2017. She is excited to start her own business in 2017 called Spoonful of OM and give power back to the individual. She uses her many talents and works with her clients to introduce three main modalities to help them feel empowered happy and healthy; yoga, customized nutrition consultation, and essential oils.
To take Spoonful of Om to the next level. I am bringing all of you like-minded individuals together to create a Kula (tribe or community). I am gathering inquisitive yogis to dive deep into the eight limbs of yoga and to live a feel good lifestyle so we can experience abundant energy, mental clarity, physical strength and free flowing joy!
Thank you to all who join and support this movement. We are all life-learners here and this community will cultivate your svadyaya (self-study) and grow your knowledge of what it truly means to live a yogic lifestyle. Remember a community does not exist without its members.
